Computer GIVEAWAY NOW Feb 2nd!

The computer giveaway from the Early Journey Foundation drawing is now Feb 2nd. We had a lot of people want to purchase tickets this week so we had to get more printed so that the drawing would be fair. Sorry for the delay but every ticket sold, no matter the date printed on them will be in the drawing.

NOW for an update. It has been awhile but a lot of doctor's appointments later, we are doing GOOD!

Her eye appointment yesterday went great. She is tracking very well. She got an A+!

Her kidney appointment today went well, we ultrasound on it next month but no problems so far!

Her oxygen use is still nothing, so that is going well, and we will know if we are off monitors on Monday Jan 31.

I spoke for the Early Journey Foundation at the March of Dimes Walk for Life Kickoff as an Ambassador family. I will be speaking at more functions soon. When I know of them, I will announce them here. I will be promoting my book and appearing on TV soon also, so look here for all the announcements.

AND PLEASE tell all your friends to donate 5 bucks and try to win the computer. The foundation is getting more exposure and is looking to help people right away!!!

OK READY.......................

We are off oxygen for a test run. We saw the doctor yesterday and he was happy with her weight gain and is going to let her go without it for a little while. We have her on the Pulse Oximeter and are watching her closely this week. If she continues to gain this week, then we can leave it off for GOOD!

Also we can take off the heart monitor during the day. It is on at night and the PulseOx is off. So it is a switch night and day. She is like a real baby now with no tubes in her face. AS you can see on the front page.

She weighs 8lbs 8 ozs as of yesterday. We must weigh 10 lbs before Jan 31 or we go back on oxygen. And that is going to be no easy task, we have so many doctors appointments this month, feeding will be off schedule.

We wrap her up to sleep at night and some nights she goes 6 hours! Finally!! We only let her go that much to get food in her, but wrapped up, she is not burning too many calories and growing.

She is right on par with hand coordination, smiles, giggles, and plays. She also cries. A lot. A whole lot. Nothing can change with her...she likes it right now one way and if something goes wrong, WWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Amazing.

Well, enough words, go look at the movies, one of them of her giggling in a bath tub floating. Her first BIG bath. Another long ago of her first giggles and smiles with her jungle floor toy. This was back when she could not hold her head straight up very well. The second jungle one, you can see she is much better.

She likes to crawl, well scoot, and does everything well except get that head up. She is a little behind on head stability, but that is because her body must catch up. She will get there.

Everything else is really nice. She anticipates you picking her up, she smiles, she interacts, she coos, she "talks", she plays, she stares, she can follow motion, she can follow noise, and she can make a lot of noise.

Ok, stop reading, go on and look at the new stuff.....

PS......PLEASE don't forget to donate!!!! Just $5.00 dollars to everyone you KNOW!! We MUST rasie the capital to begin. You will be helping make other preemies have sites just like this one!!
